My Simple Roadmap That I Use To Hit $10k (or MUCH more) Every Single Month

I’ve helped hundreds of women hit $10K or more per month in their business. And over the years, I’ve discovered this simple 5-step roadmap that every single business owner needs to take in order to hit $10K (or MUCH more) per month.

Step 1: Start with the deep belief that you can and will make $10,000 per month.

Sometimes my students ask me, “Why do we start with the belief?”. And I always tell them we start with the belief because if we don’t believe that we will make $10,000, we won’t. Manifesting isn’t a magical unicorn that trots in and brings us money. We’re still going to have to put in all the work and all the long hours that it takes to get to $10,000 per month. But we start with the belief because if we don’t believe it, it won’t feel real, and we will never reach our goal.

And so we start with the deep belief that you can and will make $10,000 per month. And if you don’t believe it yet, that’s okay. I just need a commitment from you that you’re open. That’s all I need.

Belief is like a muscle, right? When I first go to a gym, I certainly can’t deadlift my goal weight right away. I probably need to start with the bar. And then slowly, over time and with LOTS of consistency, I work my way up. That’s how it is with the deep belief.

So if you believe, or if you’re open to believing, I want to say congratulations. I want to say I’m proud of you, and I’m excited for you. You’re taking the first step in the right direction. It’s okay if you don’t believe right away; I understand, and I’ve been there before. The important thing is to keep taking baby steps to get you there.

Step 2: Know why you want to make $10,000 per month down to the penny.

This is something that most people don’t do, and this is something that a lot of people get wrong. A lot of people don’t get extremely clear on the energy side of things. They don’t define very specifically why they want to make $10K/month. They might say something like, “Oh, I want to hit 10K months.”

But if you don’t know why you want to make that $10,000 per month, down to the actual penny, you will have a disconnect between your idea, your goal, your very intangible, arbitrary goal, and your actual why.

When we take it from the intangible goal (make $10K per month) and turn that into something tangible, this is when the transformation happens. You need to get super specific like this “I want to pay off my credit card that’s $4,266 and 77 cents. I want to put $2,000 per month into savings. I want to pay off my mortgage early, and that will cost me $1498.23. I want a grocery budget of $400 a month.

And so whatever your why is, you need to know what your why is down to the penny.

I’m going to give you an example from my life. Three years ago, I was manifesting my move to California. I was living in Delaware, and I wanted to move to California badly. I had a lot of friends here. My sister, who I’m very close to, is here. And so I price shopped exactly how much it would cost me to move to California down to the penny. I called mover companies and got a quote on how much it would cost to move the stuff in my apartment. I shopped around for apartments and I figured out how much I would need to have for a down payment on the place. I even went so far as to figure out how much it would cost to replace the spices in my pantry. I had a little $300 replacement pantry budget because I was moving across the country. And so I shopped and wrote everything down to the actual penny. And I set myself a target of moving to California in three years, and I did it in two and a half. Having this concrete goal in my mind that I was working towards made it super tangible and achievable for me.

And so it’s so critical that you get direct quotes and prices. Most people won’t do this exercise. And that’s why they won’t achieve it because most people aren’t even willing to take the time to list it all out. Most people won’t even put that much effort into their goals, but I did. And we hit our goals because we take the time to know why we want to make the money down to the penny.

And what it does, my friends, and the reason why it’s essential, is because it takes the intangible remote $10,000 a month. That’s just a concept. But it takes that concept, that intangible concept, and it makes it tangible, and it brings it down to earth.

And you’ll notice that the students of mine who do this, we see success from this. Take, for example, my student Humaira. She joined my program, set her monthly income goal, and wrote down WHY she wanted that monthly income goal down to the penny.

A couple of months into the  program, she sent me this, “I’m not sure who said this, but money is a form of energy exchange. I closed two clients this month through nurture and networking, and it paid off. I’m already at my $10K per month. And I’m so excited to keep working with my dream clients.”

And so she’s correctly speaking to the energy that comes from us getting really, really specific on why we want the $10K per month.

So here’s what we’re going to do. I want to get a little promise from you, okay? At some point this week, if you’re going to do this, have a very clear list of why you want to make $10,000 per month down to the penny.

Step 3: Plot out EXACTLY what you will do to make $10,000 a month.

So here’s the deal. Most people don’t understand manifesting. And so they think that manifesting is like this magical little unicorn that will just walk in and give them the money. However, that’s not how it works. There’s no magical manifesting unicorn. There’s the WHAT part of it all too. We have to roll up our sleeves and implement and take, what I call, aligned action.

We talk about this all the time in the Get Clients Now program. You first need to get really clear on what you want and why. And then, in the Get Clients Now program, I teach you exactly what you’re going to do, and you’ll build out your custom game plan for hitting your very specific monthly income goal.

So let’s say you have a coaching package, and it’s $1K. Well, you need to sell 10 of those to hit your goal per month. So plot out what you will do and what actions you’ll take to sell ten coaching packages a month.

So I’ve got some ideas for you to get you started.

And I’m just going to list them out here so you can refer back to them if you need to.

So here are some ideas to get you started:

  1. Map out how many clients you’d need to book to make X amount. (I do this every month and this is how I hit my income goals).
  2. Make a post & offer a small digital product (one of my clients did that and made $4000 in one day)
  3. Run a “flash sale” offering service/products at a discount. (When I did this, I made $1800 in one night)
  4. List & sell things on FB marketplace. (When I did this, I made $2000 over the course of a couple of months)
  5. Apply for Upwork jobs. (I did this a ton when I was just getting started. I set the budget to be $1000 or higher & only applied for big jobs).
  6. Offer paid strategy sessions. (This isn’t a long-term solution but it’s a nice way to bring in some quick cash).
  7. Go to big FB groups and use the search bar to find “hot leads”. (I regularly do this as a way to help hit my monthly income goals).

So your game plan should look something like this: “I am going to make $10,000 in the next 30 days by selling four one-on-one clients.” Do you see how specific this is? You now have a very specific and clear game plan on what steps you will take to get to your $10K per month. I always suggest that you write your game plan down on a piece of paper and tape it on your desk or computer so that you can see it and remember it at all times.

Step 4: Identify the obstacles that may keep you from hitting your $10K months.

What obstacles come up for you when that could keep you from making $10,000 per month? Could it be fear? Lack of audience to sell to? Lack of strategy or a clear business plan? Make a list of the things that could hinder you from hitting that next income goal.

And as we’re making our list of obstacles, we’re not going to judge ourselves. We’re just going to observe them. So if we can impartially identify our obstacles, we can plan for them and overcome them.

I’ll give you an example of them. One of my friends, Vanessa, does over a million dollars every single month. And we were talking about money mindset. And she mentioned this, “If we don’t identify our patterns, and have some self-awareness around our obstacles, we’re going to be stuck making the same mistakes over and over and over again.” And the example that she used was when somebody joins a business coaching program, there may be some fears or limiting beliefs, so they don’t implement what the business coach taught. And then they don’t think the coaching program is for them because they’re not getting any traction in their business. So they bounce from coaching program to coaching program instead of implementing the strategies that their business coach taught them.

So it’s so important to identify your patterns of self-sabotage impartially and objectively. Then, when we know our obstacles, we can make clear, rational, and effective choices to overcome them.

Step 5: Commit to the game plan and do not waver.

Now, this is a huge one. Let me tell you a pattern I’ve seen before from online business owners. (And I’m sure all of us have done this at some point – I know I have many times). You make your game plan at the beginning of the month, and you’re showing up the first week of the month all pumped and excited and ready to go.

And then, the first week, nothing really happens. You’re not getting any traction, and all your stuff is getting crickets. So, by the end of the second week, when you haven’t seen any progress, you’re discouraged, and you quietly start to taper away. But, did you know? (and this part is SO important). Most sales are closed in the last week of the month. And so, what that means, is that if you are like most entrepreneurs who don’t know this, you let things fizzle out in the last week of the month. And maybe you say something like, “Oh, I’ll get back into it at the beginning of the month.” But, actually, what you’ve been doing in the first couple of weeks of the month, you’ve been warming people up, you’ve been helping them, you’ve been giving them value. And right before your payday and right before you are about ready to close all the people you’ve been talking to, you lose all your sales. And so, most of your sales will be closed in the last week of the month.

So, knowing that, how is that going to change what you do? This little tip alone, believe it or not, could be the difference between you hitting $10K months and not hitting 10K months. Because right now, you’ve likely been leaving a lot of money on the table. This is why it is so so important that you stay consistent to your gameplan, you show up without fail every single day, and you do not waver.
